Content Searching

After Omneo P2P connections have been initiated and verified, the client will typically begin by searching for P2P content based on query strings and content categories.  This portion of P2P-based network traffic is a tiny percentage of all P2P traffic, and is not handled directly the Omneo P2P.  This technique ensures that the search values which are returned to the requesting search query reflect the exact, existing content in the network, and further guarantees that all content subsequently served from the Omneo P2P cache is always fresh, as described below.
