(OTC BB: WRPT), a leading provider of network and application acceleration technology solutions, today announced that Virgin Megastores, one of the world’s leading consumer brands, has selected WARP SpiderCache software to improve performance and scalability of its Web site and e-commerce operations in the UK.  WARP SpiderCache was recommended to Virgin, by Linear Ten, one of the UK’s most experienced e-commerce consultancies.

Linear Ten has enjoyed a close business relationship with Virgin for a number of years.  The company developed the Virgin Megastores multi-channel e-commerce platform in the UK, including web, kiosk, and call-centre channels.

Virgin Megastores operates one of the Internet’s top-rated Web sites, attracting more than 100,000 unique visitors each week. After an extensive evaluation of WARP SpiderCache software, Linear Ten recognized the value it offered in performance benefits and resource utilization.  The company includes WARP SpiderCache in its solutions suite for e-business architectures, as it enables organizations such as Virgin to maintain performance specifications with a much lower hardware requirement.
