WARP Announces Special “Inktomi Replacement” Program
DataReactor Software Offers a High-Performance Web Caching

“Alternative” for Organizations Using Inktomi Traffic Server

NEW YORK, NY (May 7, 2003) – WARP Technology Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: WRPT), a leading provider of network and application acceleration technology solutions, today announced a new program designed to offer organizations using Inktomi Traffic Server or other static caching solutions in transition with a cost-effective, high performance alternative. Through its “Inktomi Replacement” program, WARP is introducing special pricing and a migration plan to its DataReactor Web caching software, as well as the availability of an API to further customize existing applications.

“Static caching is rapidly becoming a feature within the overall network and application acceleration market niche,” explained Karl Douglas, CEO of WARP Technology Holdings. “The DataReactor product provides a proven, high-performance static Web caching solution to meet an organization’s current needs, and is a component of our GTEN framework, which offers a strategic roadmap that integrates more advanced application and network acceleration technologies such as partial page and object caching, TCP/IP session management and compression.”

Uncompromised Performance

Offering multi-platform support, including Solaris, Linux, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X, the DataReactor product line provides a powerful, highly-scalable Web content caching solution. This solution fully supports all forms of Web caching, including proxy, transparent and reverse proxy, as well as multiple servers per reverse proxy.

“In measuring performance, our benchmark tests show that DataReactor for Solaris outperformed Inktomi Traffic Server by a factor of two with respect to throughput, and a factor of three in terms of response time,” explained Greg Parker, CTO of WARP Technology Holdings. “Additionally, the DataReactor offers a software-based solution that requires minimal server resources which significantly improve application and network performance.”

According to Gus Bottazzi, VP of Sales at WARP Solutions, Inc., “Enterprise organizations are seeking a comparable replacement for their Web caching technologies that are no longer supported by other vendors. The DataReactor product is widely used and offers a cost-effective, software-based alternative to Inktomi Traffic Server, and other solutions in transition. Additionally, the availability of an API makes it that much easier to integrate the capabilities of the DataReactor into existing environments.”

Special Pricing

WARP is offering the DataReactor product at special direct replacement pricing through September 30, 2003. For additional details, contact Gus Bottazzi at 866-223-6456.
