Warp and Macnica Announce Exclusive Distribution Partnership

Macnica Will Distribute Warp 2063 in Japan; More Than USD$600,000 in
Orders from Macnica Projected Through End of the Year

NEW YORK (September 12, 2002) – Warp Solutions, Inc. (OTC BB: WRPT), a leading provider of Internet application acceleration solutions, and Macnica Networks Company, a division company of Macnica, Inc. and a leading Japanese IT distributor, today announced they have finalized an exclusive distribution partnership. Through the agreement, Macnica will distribute the WARP 2063 Application Preprocessor in Japan, accommodating strong demand for Warp’s products in the region. Warp has already received USD$200,000 in orders from Macnica, as part of more than USD$600,000 in orders targeted through the end of 2002.

The Warp 2063 application accelerator is designed to support dynamic content requests and high-volume transaction processing over the Web, accelerating the delivery of mission-critical business applications that are migrating online. The product leverages a company’s existing infrastructure to improve application performance via the Internet – without high costs, risks, or infrastructure complexities. Warp 2063 is the first release in Warp’s GTEN (Global Transaction Enabled Network) suite of products, which offers a series of performance-enhancing technology solutions for the Internet.

“Through this master distribution agreement with Macnica, Warp now has the means to reach Japan and the growing Asian marketplace, and make the Warp 2063 product available to customers throughout the region,” said Karl Douglas, President and CEO of Warp. “Already, we have completed a large initial sale to Macnica, with those installations well underway.”

The market opportunity in Japan for technology such as that from Warp is growing rapidly. According to research from Gartner’s Dataquest, the Asia-Pacific region, led by China and Japan, is expected to be the world’s largest Internet market within three years.

“By partnering with Warp, Macnica reinforces its position as a leader in providing Japanese businesses with the technologies they need to stay ahead in this highly competitive market,” commented Mr. Kiyoshi Nakashima, Macnica Networks Company President. “We believe the strong demand for the Warp 2063 will continue as companies throughout Japan recognize the need to accommodate a growing volume of demands for dynamic content and transaction processing via the Internet.”
